Does Tracy have the new house blues? It can be fun!

Buying a house usually means some work! This was about 5 or 6 months into our move to Maple Lake. What a crew! We turned that red house white though.....built that new rack for firewood, eventually bricked the lower level, added Pella windows...it goes on!
Good Luck Tracy and Keith! Someday you'll look back and really smile and think how very much you enjoyed it all.

Happy Birthday Grandma!!

On this day, back in 1922, the world became a better place! Happy Birthday Grandma!
(This photo was taken on the Snodgrass "ranch" in May 2007. I especially like the family-famous "Grandma" mug and of course the Orange Fiesta plate in the photo... I believe that cup was full of coffee to accompany the Bonnie Belle's cake that would end up on the plate!)

Grandpa (Clem) Snodgrass registration card
I think you can click on the image to enlarge it.

Joey spent the afternoon yesterday at the Family History Library, on West Temple Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. It proved to be a very interesting time! He found several neat documents, learned to hate microfilm, and got an inside view of what some librarians do for a living.
I'll upload the Registration Card that Grandpa had filled out in 1918 for WWI. His birth year was 1883 and he was a natural born citizen. Very cool. I love the script writing on the card too.
Looks like his name was listed as Joseph Clem Snodgrass.
It is a little difficult to see, but my mouse has a handy magnifier!

Hi, lets see if I can embed a link to my folder of photos from our walk in Brookside Gardens.
