I think these must have been circa 1937-1938. Dad turned 21 while at Villefranche-sur-Mer, France. He was in his first enlistment in the Navy, prior to WWII. It was called The Goodwill Tour and he spent about two years in the Mediterranean. Italy, Spain, France.
These are cool photos.
I have a couple more to add if I can get to a scanner ;-)
